This video had been up on Youtube for 3 1/2 months when I stumbled upon it
in a local bands blog of an on-line San Francisco newspaper. Well, I fell in love
instantly and anyone watching here can easily understand why. But it wasn't tagged
for "ukulele" so no one searching Youtube for ukulele videos would have found it unless
they just accidently bumped up against it. I mentioned this shortcoming to John, the singer/uker, and it's since been corrected.

Even though they're not just a ukulele band, to me the ukulele world seemed the
obvious audience for their video. So I mentioned it to Jeff West, of the Bay Area blog, Humble Uker, and he put it up. Donnie Bubbles of Uketoob.com saw it there and he put it
on his site. Al picked it up from there, and now you're spreading the word. I was correct in my assessment since in the past two weeks the video's views have more than doubled their previous 3 1/2 month total. This is an original drinking song and we all know the world can use more of those.

Shay, it was great to see the highlights ..Tommy, Keith, the amazing young Patrick,.... Jimmy now looks like an elder of the tribe! Helena and her pal were great, and I will never hear Let it Snow agin in my life without thinking of Sonny. Tony discretely working away in the background, and not forgetting the great Andrew Robinson's renditions of Liam Clancy, which mustn't have been recorded.

i nearly passed out when I saw you included the lowlights too.... having said that thanks for leaving out the VERY worst bits!
My motto for next year will be "Uke can do it".... just practice more!!
Have a wonderful Christmas time, and see you all in Jan 2010.
