Ukulele Hooley By The Sea 2012 (Ireland’s ukulele festival)

Just received the finished artwork for the “Ukulele Hooley By The Sea” 2012 poster :-)
Our good friend and talented designer Eri Noguchi has designed the artwork and posters for the three years we are running the festival and she’s done a terrific job. Thanks Eri.
Looking forward to meeting all our ukulele friends in Dun Laoghaire in August so make sure the dates are in your diary!

“Tiptoe Thru’ the Tulips” reclaimed by Ian “Reentrant” Emmerson on ukulele.

Ian “Reentrant” Emmerson performs a very nifty version of “Tiptoe Thru’ The Tulips” and reclaims it for the wonderful song it always was before T.T. did a number on it in the 60’s.
Ian introduces the song with interesting line – “My missus will be back any minute now and I don’t want her to catch me doing this song – so its going to be one take or nothing” ! Cool :-)

“Women Who Loved You” (new original on ukulele by Danielle Ate the Sandwich)

She is playing one of those “ten a penny” Myna Moe Ukuleles …(just a tinge of the “green monster” erupting here- I’ve been fancying one of those beautiful ukes since I first saw them)
Remember the name “Danielle Ate The Sandwich”:-)
